For the school year 2023/24 we have once again been awarded as an 'Environmental School in Europe / International Sustainability School' by the jury consisting of representatives from the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Education, ALP and LBV .
They recognised the commitment of our school family, and in particular our sustainability team, in developing ESM towards sustainability and promoting environmental issues.
The network of European Environmental Schools has grown to a total of 669 this year. We are proud to be part of this initiative !
To honour the commitment of the school community, an award ceremony will take place on Monday 24 March 2025 in Fürth in the presence of the Bavarian Minister of the Environment, the Bavarian Minister of Education and the LBV President. Together with all the award-winning environmental schools, there will be a ceremony and a 'market of opportunities'.
A great success for ESM, in which many teachers and students were involved, especially Mrs Calado, our sustainability coordinator!
