Strike in public transport March 2/3

| News Allgemein

Dear parents and guardians,

As you have surely heard from the media, the union has called for strikes in public transport next Thursday and Friday. In Munich, this will affect the undergrounds, the trams and also some of the buses. It will not affect the S-Bahn, which belongs to Deutsche Bahn, and the private bus lines, which make up about half of the lines.

If your child cannot switch to alternatives such as the bike, there is still the option of taking the S-Bahn to "Neuperlach Süd" and then walking the 1.2 km to school.

If you would like to bring your child by car, please only use the bus loop at Putzbrunner Straße. Please note: Drive through to the end and quickly drop off your child so that there is no traffic jam here ("kiss and ride").

We will be tolerant of delays in the first lesson due to the strike. Teachers have been advised to postpone first period tests if possible. Please check your emails regularly, we will notify you of any changes in a timely manner.

In any case: Please send your child off much earlier than usual – thanks a lot!

Kind regards,

Martin Duggen

Deputy Director (Secondary)
