Congratulacje! At the 18th edition of the Polish Language Olympiad in Germany, student Klaudia Kostrzewa from the S6 of the European School Munich made it to the final. 195 pupils had qualified for the second round, only 29 of them finally took part in the final. In the age group of 12 to 18-year-olds, the ESM pupil finally reached 5th place. A great result!

The Polish Language Olympiad in Germany is organised by the Wspólnota Polska (Polish Community) Association in cooperation with the Polish Embassy and the Polish Consulates General. The content of the competition was supervised by Prof. Danuta Krzyżyk from Silesian University. Part of the exam was the interpretation of lyrical and literary works - in Polish, of course.

The European School Munich congratulates its student on her very good result in the competition. Polish-speaking pupils who would like to take part themselves next year can contact teacher Anita Lidzbarska.
