George Protopapas, Generaldirektor der SOS-Kinderdörfer Griechenland, dankte unseren Schülern für ihr Engagement: “We are all part of this one planet. Wherever we are we have to think and act for the others, the less privileged, the weakest and the less fortunate and you have responded with solidarity and maturity and have given to our children reasons to feel secure and safe again. (…) With all the love of our children along with the gratitude of our members of the Board of Directors, we thank all of you, your families, your teacher Mrs. Panagiota Papakosta and the Directors of the European School Munich for the love and trust you show to our work and we wish you a fruitful and full of success school year.”

Students donate to the EDUCATIONAL SUPPORTING PROGRAMME (ESP) of SOS Children's Villages Greece

Again last year, the students of the Greek class, inspired by their teacher Panagiota Papakosta, collected money for the SOS Children's Villages in Greece. The donation will be used for the "Educational Support Program" of the SOS Children's Villages in Thessaloniki.

The ESP supports families who are in a difficult financial situation and are not able to support the learning and educational progress of their children themselves.

George Protopapas, Director General of SOS Children's Villages Greece, thanked our students for their commitment: "We are all part of this one planet. Wherever we are we have to think and act for the others, the less privileged, the weakest and the less fortunate and you have responded with solidarity and maturity and have given to our children reasons to feel secure and safe again. (...) With all the love of our children along with the gratitude of our members of the Board of Directors, we thank all of you, your families, your teacher Mrs. Panagiota Papakosta and the Directors of the European School Munich for the love and trust you show to our work and we wish you a fruitful and full of success school year."
