Animals Of The Night

The theme of the year in Kindergarten is "Day and Night". Therefore, we have been looking more closely at animals that are nocturnal in the last few weeks. All the Kindergarten classes have chosen different animals, including bat, fox and owl.

We made handicrafts, read stories, made excursions and observations and conducted experiments. The Secondary School kindly provided us with a stuffed owl so that we could study it up close. The owl was named "Pepe".

These interesting weeks culminated in an exhibition, in which all classes presented their results - interesting information about the individual animals, pictures and other handicrafts. Before the exhibition was opened for parents, there was a small launch just for us children, enabling the different classes to present what they had learned.

These were exciting weeks also because when these animals are awake, we children are usually already lying in bed and fast asleep.
