Tulips for the school garden

| News Kindergarten

In the week before the autumn holidays, a great joint project of Kindergarten and Primary School took place. The M1 and M2 classes of the French section of the Kindergarten and the French P1 and P2 classes of the Primary School planted the raised beds in the school garden. At first the planning was discussed via Teams. Then the school children cleaned up the beds and planted tulip and daffodil bulbs. The Kindergarten children also planted flower bulbs two days later.

The pupils collected information about the plants and wrote reports as part of the subject "Discovering the World". All the children will closely observe the growth of the flowers. In this way they will learn about the seasons and have their first experiences with botany. In addition to the shared experience and learning, such an exchange between the classes also promotes language skills. The children are now eagerly waiting to see the flowers grow in spring.
