Early release

In order to minimize disruption to school operations, early release of pupils is strictly limited to emergency situations and unavoidable circumstances. Parents are asked to inform in advance about absences of their children. Additionally, parents of pupils riding the bus must notify the Parents’ Association, if the children will not be on the bus. Your cooperation is important to ensure safe and smooth school operation.

For security reasons, you must inform the school for each day that your child is sick or absent. The report must be received no later than 9 a.m. on the first day of absence. This applies to all absences, not only due to illness. After an absence of more than 2 days, a medical certificate must be presented.

Exemption from sports lessons

In the event of illness or injury the sport teacher requires a written notice from the parents. This is sufficient for one or two lessons of absence, however longer absences than that require a doctor's certificate. Should an accident or illness occur on the actual day or in the sports lesson then it will be possible for the nurses to excuse the pupil from the lesson.
