Organised exchange weeks

Organised student exchange week Barcelona

The student exchange with our partner school in Barcelona usually takes place in the project week before the Easter holidays and is intended for S5 students (L3/L4 Spanish).

It is a voyage of discovery, a chance to experience the Spanish language and to live and to experience new situations:

Be it a guided tour in the world of Antonio Gaudi (La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia, Parque Güell...), a workshop in the Chocolate Museum, a Salsa dance class or simply staying with the host family of the partner exchange students and of course the partnership and friendship on an international level in Europe.

The objective of the exchange week is to gain experience, improve both language and social skills and  develop student independence and resilience.

Organised student exchange week Bordeaux

If you are in S5 and have French in L3 or L4, you have the opportunity to take part in an exchange with students from the Lycée Gustave Eiffel in Bordeaux.

We usually go to Bordeaux for a week before the Easter holidays and the Bordelais also come to Munich for a week, right after your semester tests in June, before the work experience weeks at the end of S5. In Bordeaux, you will stay with your exchange partner and be supervised by two French teachers. In Munich, your exchange partner will live with you.

During the two-week exchange, numerous excursions are organised to explore Bordeaux and Munich and the surrounding area.

This exchange is an opportunity to practice the French language with a French family while making new friends and discovering the Bordeaux area. Everyone who has taken part in this exchange has returned enthusiastic - and some who graduated from high school several years ago have kept in touch with their former exchange partners. If you would like more information, you can contact your French teacher.
