We have many plans for the coming years! An important part of our "Future ESM" program is the new admission policy recently adopted by the Board of Governors of the European Schools in Brussels.
As a result, we can now admit more external pupils to the secondary school, kindergarten and elementary school than before. Both in category II via framework agreements with companies and in category III via individual contracts with private persons.
In line with the founding idea of the ESM, our focus remains the excellent educational offer for children of employees of the European Patent Office Munich and other European institutions, but at the same time we are looking forward to the diversity and impulses that the new pupils will bring with them.
This "controlled opening" for more enrolments of children in categories II and III enables ESM to achieve a good mix of the school population and a balance in the total number of pupils up to around 2,200. The size and type of composition thus also corresponds to the spatial conditions at our Neuperlach and Fasangarten sites.
