Every year it is a great pleasure when the first graders receive the organic lunch box. This was also the case in the week after the autumn holidays. The Munich organic lunch box campaign is under the patronage of the Mayor Dieter Reiter and the Bavarian Minister of Education, Professor Dr. Michael Piazolo. It is intended to set an example for sustainable nutrition and show pupils what a healthy breakfast can look like. The reusable bread boxes contain products from organic farming and child-friendly information on healthy nutrition. On the day of their distribution, the classes also deal with the topic of food in class, for example with the food pyramid. In this way, the pupils learn about healthy nutrition and sustainable development in a playful way and through eating together.
